Steven Tyler ‘American Idol’ Negotiations Continue

Last month, Gossip Cop was the first outlet in the world to report that “American Idol” producers had offered Steven Tyler a spot as a judge. And while no announcement has been made, Tyler has been reportedly negotiating the terms of a potential deal.
Cameras caught Tyler in New York yesterday, and the Aerosmith frontman addressed “Idol” talk by saying the show better “lay out the bread” if they want his services.
Gossip Cop hears producers are trying to finalize with Tyler, who was on no one’s radar until our report in July.
As for the other judge candidate, Gossip Cop reported exclusively, Jennifer Lopez is still very much in the running despite a widespread rumor earlier this week.
