VIDEO: Steve Carell Joins Jimmy Fallon’s Barbershop Quartet For “Sexual Healing”
Steve Carell joined Jimmy Fallon’s Ragtime Gals barbershop quartet for an amazing performance of “Sexual Healing” on Wednesday’s “Tonight Show.” You may think you know how sexy the Marvin Gaye song is, but you haven’t seen it paired with brightly striped jackets and boater hats!
It was an eventful episode of the “Tonight Show.” Fallon also introduced a new game called “Slapjack,” which he played with Mark Wahlberg in honor of the actor’s new film The Gambler. It works like blackjack, except the winner gets to slap the loser across the face with a giant prosthetic hand. The action was accompanied by some hilarious slow-motion and sound effects. Watch the video here.
“Sexual Healing” was another highlight. Earlier this year, Fallon and his barbershop quartet did a rendition of the R. Kelly classic “Ignition,” and they later invited Kevin Spacey to join them for a gorgeous version of the Jason Derulo hit “Talk Dirty.” How does the Ragtime Gals’ performance of “Sexual Healing” with Carell stack up to those gems? Check out the video below, and tell us what you think!
