Bristol Palin’s Bar Heckler Apologizes

Stephen Hanks, the man who laid into Bristol Palin with some vicious heckling about her mother last week, has now apologized.

As seen in the infamous video below, Hanks calls Sarah Palin a “whore” and “the f*cking devil” to Bristol’s face, which, politics aside, isn’t great manners.

Now Hanks has issued an apologetic statement through his lawyer.

“Having had an opportunity to view the camera footage of the incident this past Thursday at the Saddle Ranch Bar & Chop House in West Hollywood, and having reflected on the incident over the weekend, I have come to the conclusion that no matter what my feelings are towards Sarah Palin, I should not have expressed them towards her daughter, Bristol Palin,” says Hanks.

He continues, “I am very passionate about politics, and believe in equality for all Americans. I expressed my feelings in an improper manner in the heat of the moment, and allowed my emotions to get the better of me.”

“My political views are solely mine, and not those of my friends, colleagues or the establishment for which I work,” says Hanks. “I apologize to them for my poor judgment that night, and to Bristol for any hurt may actions may have caused her. I wish Bristol success with her television show, and much happiness in the future.”

    I don’t like the Palins – none of them; however, I am proud of Bristol for standing up to that bully. He was WAY out of line. He was 100% in the wrong.

    That’s a pretty revealing sentence right there. It sounds like there may have been a threatened boycott of the people his company represents.

    Hanks apology wasn,t sincere. He made a public apology because he has recieved death threats, and to keep from being fired, because the company he works for is about to be boycotted. These left-wing idiots ( gay or not) are so out of control,they have to learn the hard way. Why doesn,t Obama come out and tell his followers to stop the hate filled, obsene language used against his political opponents. His silence is a sign of his approval. This country hasn,t been this devided since the civil war. If this keeps up, I wouldn,t be surprised if we have another one. Obama and his left-wing, out of control haters must be defeated in the 2012 elections!

I hope Hanks gets sued for eveything he,s got. His “free speech” defense will not stand up in a civil court of law. He crossed the line, and he and you should know that, if you had any decency!

    Bristol wasn,t in this place illegally. Its a combination bar and resturant. Bristol wasn,t drinking alchohol, so she wasn,t doing anything against the law.
