Stephen Collins has resigned from his spot on the National Board of the Screen Actors Guild after his taped confession to child molestation surfaced on Tuesday.

A rep for SAG has confirmed that Collins has quit the position before the end of his three-year term.

He was also removed from the Committee for Stress-Free Schools, a project for which he’d been co-director.

Collins was also fired from Ted 2 on Tuesday.

The moves come following the release of a shocking recording in which Collins admits to his estranged wife that he had inappropriate sexual contact with multiple preteen girls.
