Stephen Collins’ 7th Heaven Wife Catherine Hicks: He’s “A Good Guy” (VIDEO)
Stephen Collins’ “7th Heaven” wife Catherine Hicks says she had no idea the actor was engaging in sexual molestation.
As Gossip Cop reported, the actor was recorded confessing to molesting multiple young girls over the years.
Collins and Hicks starred as Reverend Eric and Annie Camden on the beloved The WB family series, often serving as the show’s moral compass.
Speaking with TMZ on Tuesday, Hicks said she didn’t “know anything” about Collins’ misdeeds.
“Stephen’s a good guy, in my opinion,” she said.
Asked if anyone on “7th Heaven” had any “suspicions” of what was apparently going on in Collins’ private life, Hicks replied, “No, gosh, no!”
Hours after Collins’ stunning admissions came to light, the TV Guide Network announced it was pulling “7th Heaven” from its schedule, effectively immediately.
A 2000 episode of the series actually featured Collins’ reverend counseling a girl who had been molested.
Also on Wednesday, it was revealed that Collins and Hicks’ “7th Heaven” co-star Sarah Goldberg had died at age 40.
Collins and Hicks reunited with some of their other colleagues, including Jessica Biel, just last month.
