Much of Stephen Collins’ career is being looked at in a new light in the wake of his child molestation confession — including his role as the Reverend Eric Camden on “7th Heaven.”

The WB series tackled many serious issues over its 11 seasons and more than 200 episodes, often through Collins’ character.

And yes, that included sexual molestation.

In one 2000 episode, a girl confesses to Collins’ Rev. Camden that she was forced to have sex with her mother’s boyfriend.

He looks shaken at the confession, and tells her, “It’s not your fault. You are not responsible for this man’s criminal behavior. You were molested.”

As Gossip Cop reported, TV Guide Network has pulled “7th Heaven” from its schedule due to Collins’ admissions.

The actor also starred in the 1996 Lifetime movie, The Babysitter’s Seduction, with Kerri Russell, in which he plays a widower who starts an illicit affair with the young woman caring for his kids.
