  umm… Not a Trump fan but this is just too much. I’m so disgusted by celebs, politicians that think rolling in the gutter is okay. Some lines just shouldn’t be crossed. Whatever happened to being a civil society?

  I’m more appalled by the fact that Trump is basically holding a donation hostage based on the fact that the president will not give up information.

  Colbert isn’t involving a politician in this, do I have no problem with his offer.

  I don’t get it. Trump isn’t a liberal? and as far as I can see he is the one with double standards. I don’t remember him asking any of the former presidents to show their passports or college applications to make sure they in deed are true enough Americans to lead the country.

  And how is bringing up the thoroughly debunked birther nonsense again not rolling in the gutter? If you run around using your media platform to announce you have important new information to blow a presidential election wide open 12 days before the election and recycle old stories as your big announcement, you should expect that you will be skewered by the comedians and deservedly so. The language Trump has used this past year makes Colbert’s language look like something uttered by an angel. I understand your call for civility and I share it, but indignation on behalf of Donald Trump is misplaced.

  I can hear it now, Trump talking to his cronies ” you just wait, I’ve got something that will blow Obama’s chances to win the election, and I will announce it 2 weeks before the election” .
  You know like the mean kid in the neighborhood who says I know something that you don’t know and then it turns out to be nothing! Trump made a video for you tube? Did he think it would go viral?

  i so agree. We keep allowing the bar to be lowered further and further. What are we? Are we not men? I mean that symbolically. We are allowing ourselves turned into beasts.

  On an unrelated note, but while we are on the subject, I don’t like either candidate, but the media has already made up our minds for us. Same media that promotes filth in the minds of true humans, turning them into accepting this rank behavior.

  In no way am I trying to defend Trump. I could care less about Trump and whatever he has up his sleeve or up his ass.
  I have a problem with celebs, politicians and anyone else that has a platform, using it to continually lower the bar on civility.
  I double checked my post and nope… no mention of the birther b.s.

  Guess I should have started with I hate trump followed by a bunch of foul names.

  I don’t think anyone who has seen what kind of a media attention seeker the Trump is would be at all surprised by his “big news”. I’m sure some members of the Republican party wished he’d find another party to join so he can embarrass them a bit for a change.

Since when do we need to make all these documents available for a president? Why is Obama the only one being asked to prove his a citizenship? Double standard?? I think you got that wrong.
