Stephanie Rice and Caroline Sky had a beautiful Battle on Monday’s “The Voice,” prompting a steal. Check out the video below!

Rice and Sky are both on Gwen Stefani’s team. For the second round of the NBC competition, each coach has to pair up artists to do a duet performance, knowing one will have to be eliminated afterward. In this case, Stefani opted to put Rice and Sky together because they’re both singer-songwriters, though about 10 years apart in age.

The No Doubt front woman assigned the aspiring stars the lovelorn ballad, “The First Cut Is The Deepest.” In rehearsal with special mentor Celine Dion, Stefani encouraged Sky to “exaggerate” at times, and Dion didn’t hesitate to demonstrate with her powerful voice. For Rice’s raspy tone, it was suggested she go softer at times.

The two artists were very much opposites, but managed to meet in the middle. “I feel like I would die if I have to lose either one of those girls,” Stefani confessed. It didn’t help, of course, that Rice and Sky nailed the performance come show time.

Adam Levine marveled over Sky’s young age and “untapped potential,” giving her the edge. Blake Shelton, though, gave his vote to Rice. Alicia Keys found herself “personally interested” in Rice, but said Sky “took this performance.” Stefani, though, had the final say.

Rice was named the winner, but Sky’s journey wasn’t over. Shelton hit his button to steal, delighting both his girlfriend and the aspiring star. “You went from Team Gwen to Team Gwen,” Levine joked. Watch below!
