Stephanie Moseley Accused Of Affair With Trey Songz By Killer Husband Earl Hayes
Stephanie Moseley, the “Hit the Floor” star who was shot dead by her rapper husband Earl Hayes on Monday in Los Angeles, reportedly had an affair with Trey Songz. According to a new report, the infidelity had haunted Hayes who, after killing Moseley, turned the gun on himself. TMZ says Hayes accused the backup dancer, who he wed in 2008, of multiple affairs with various entertainers and that the couple had separated for some time in 2012 before getting back together.
On Monday, Songz tweeted, “R.I.P babygirl. Once an angel on earth, now watching over us from Heaven. You’ll b missed but never forgotten. Love.” Songz has not commented on the allegations that he and Moseley has been romantically tied. TMZ says that even though the couple reconciled, Hayes often brought up the alleged affair.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, residents of a Los Angeles apartment building near The Grove heard nearly a dozen gunshots on Monday morning, prompting a SWAT team to descend on the scene. When the police entered the apartment, they found the dead bodies of Moseley and Hayes. It’s believed Hayes, who was signed to Floyd Mayweather’s record label, first shot Moseley and then killed himself. Mayweather was reportedly on FaceTime with Hayes as the tragedy unfolded and even heard the gunshots over the phone.
In addition to starring as a cheerleader on VH1’s “Hit The Floor,” Moseley appeared on “Hellcats.” She also choreographed and danced in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and Mirror Mirror. Additionally, Moseley served as a backup dancer for a number of performers, including Usher, Britney Spears and Chris Brown, who shared a photo on Instagram of himself with Moseley, writing, “RIP baby girl. Danced with me on tour and was always the coolest person. My prayers go out to you and HAZE family.” Moseley’s “Hellcats” co-star Ashley Tisdale tweeted, “RIP Stephanie Moseley. I’ll always remember dancing with you on #hellcats. Such a beautiful kind spirit. I’m praying for your family.”
In the wake of Moseley’s death, VH1 issued a statement that read: “We are incredibly saddened to hear the news of the passing of Stephanie Moseley. VH1 and the entire ‘Hit The Floor’ family send our thoughts and condolences to her family and friends at this difficult time.” Gossip Cop will continue to update as more details emerge.
