Stars Who’ve Slammed Donald Trump
Stars are uniting to slam GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump. Some have expressed that they’ve shed tears over the thought of him winning the election, while others have threatened to move out of the U.S. Gossip Cop has collected several celebrity disses to the Republican presidential candidate.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, George Clooney slammed Trump for his controversial stances on many of the issues. “He’s just an opportunist. Now he’s a fascist; a xenophobic fascist,” Clooney told The Guardian. Miley Cyrus noted on Instagram that she was brought to tears following Trump’s Super Tuesday victory. “Yes. That is a tear rolling down my cheek dripping off the end of my nose.” An outspoken animal rights advocate, she wrote next to a photo composite of herself, Trump, and a female supporter of his holding a dead animal, “This makes me so unbelievably scared and sad.” “I am moving if this is my president!” she added.
Rosie O’Donnell, who has verbally sparred with Trump repeatedly over the years, chimed in on Twitter this week. “Truly a sick man – time to wake up America,” she said of the Republican candidate. And Whoopi Goldberg said on “The View” in January that if Trump were elected, she might be forced to leave the country. “I don’t think that’s America. I don’t want it to be America,” she told her fellow panelists. “Maybe it’s time for me to move.” Raven-Symone recently echoed her co-host’s sentiments, but didn’t limit her dig to merely just Trump. “My confession for this election is if any Republican gets nominated, I am going to move Canada with my entire family. I already have my ticket.”
Charlie Sheen went from previously supporting Trump to denouncing him. “Hey Trump, ‘A farce or comedy is best played; a tragedy is best read at home’ Abe Lincoln,” the actor wrote in a tweet in February. “America please WAKE UP! #AnyoneButTrump.” Meanwhile, Samuel L. Jackson did not hold back when asked about the possibility of a Trump presidency. While on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” the actor joked that he would leave the country, as well. “If that motherf**ker becomes President, I’m moving my black a** to South Africa,” he exclaimed.
