As Gossip Cop reported, Duke was perhaps best known for her role as Hellen Keller in 1962’s The Miracle Worker, for which she won Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards at only 16-years-old. The following year, she began starring on her own sitcom, “The Patty Duke Show.”
Alyssa Milano tweeted, “Rest with the Angels, Patty Duke. Thoughts and prayers are with all that love her.” Meanwhile, Rose McGowan wrote, “Patty Duke has died. Thank you for sharing your talent with us for all these years. #neelyoharaforever.” And Patricia Heaton expressed, “Oh no!
