Patty Duke died on Tuesday of sepsis from a ruptured intestine. The Oscar winner was 69. Stars are now mourning the death of Duke. See celebrity reactions and tributes below.

As Gossip Cop reported, Duke was perhaps best known for her role as Hellen Keller in 1962’s The Miracle Worker, for which she won Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards at only 16-years-old. The following year, she began starring on her own sitcom, “The Patty Duke Show.”

Alyssa Milano tweeted, “Rest with the Angels, Patty Duke. Thoughts and prayers are with all that love her.” Meanwhile, Rose McGowan wrote, “Patty Duke has died. Thank you for sharing your talent with us for all these years. #neelyoharaforever.” And Patricia Heaton expressed, “Oh no! Just read about #PattyDuke passing,” before noting to Duke’s son, “I’m thinking about you @SeanAstin – love and condolences.”

Larry King tweeted, “I admired Patty Duke for her bravery & work on mental health issues. And, what an actress! Condolences to sons Sean, Kevin & Mackenzie.” Chris Colfer, who co-starred with the actress on “Glee,” said, “So sad to hear of [Patty Duke’s] passing. She was a wonderful and talented person. I loved getting to work with her. XO.” Meanwhile, Holly Robinson Peete wrote, “Devastated to hear of the passing of the amazing Patty Duke. Legendary actor Eloquent humanitarian.”

Diane Warren simply stated, “Oh no RIP Patty Duke,” while Marlee Matlin tweeted, “Brave, outspoken & humanitarian who played Helen Keller in ‘Miracle Worker,’ Oscar winner Patty Duke passed. I will miss her. RIP.” And William Shatner conveyed, “Very saddened on the passing of Patty Duke. She was a wonderful friend on Twitter.
