Abe Vigoda, the legendary character actor best known for roles in The Godfather films and TV series “Barney Miller,” died on Tuesday at the age of 94. Stars are now mourning the death of the iconic actor. See celebrity tributes and reactions below.
As Gossip Cop reported, Abe Vigoda died in his sleep from natural causes at his daughter’s home in Woodland Park, New Jersey, where he had been staying. He is survived by his daughter Carol, three grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
Dane Cook wrote, “I met Abe Vigoda at a urinal. He was so kind. I told him I loved his work and he said, ‘right now?’ His portrayal of Sal Tessio! RIP sir.” Carson Daly tweeted, “RIP. Such a sweet man. God Bless his family.” Larry King proclaimed, “What a life. What a career. What a warm & funny man he was. His performance in ‘Godfather’ still amazes me.”
