It’s Cinco de Mayo, the Mexican holiday commemorating the Mexican Army’s victory at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. Stars are now celebrating the annual event known for its fiestas full of authentic Mexican food, music and margaritas. See celebrity tweets below!

Chloe Grace Moretz posted a video of herself singing along with a mariachi band on a Spanish talk show, and wrote, “Couldn’t ask for a better day to be promoting #Neighbors2.” Along with a picture of three girls wearing sombreros and fake mustaches while seemingly passed out drunk on a subway, Johnny Knoxville said, “I wish you a happy cinco de mayo with this photo from seis de mayo!”

Tori Spelling tweeted a link to her website listing “easy ideas you can put together for a last minute fiesta!” and added, “Last minute #cincodemayo party ideas are up on the blog today!” Meanwhile, LeAnn Rimes simply stated, “Happy #CincoDeMayo!”

Ryan Seacrest joked, “Americans consume 81 million avocados on #CincoDeMayo…is it bad that that number seems low to me?” And along with a picture of a chihuahua wearing sombrero, Melissa Joan Hart expressed, “Happy #CincoDeMayo!” and further noted, “It’s also national prayer day.” Gossip Cop will update as more stars celebrate Cinco de Mayo.
