Star cover on Tori Spelling carries little weight

Truth rating: 2

(Star)

In its cover story, “Tori Collapses,” it seems the Star’s reporting is what really collapses.

The tabloid claims that Tori Spelling recently made two trips to the hospital because of stress related to fighting with her husband Dean McDermott and negative comments made about her by his ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace.

According to the Star, on September 27, Spelling was looking “incredibly frail” and was using her child’s “stroller to hold herself up.” The next day, says the rag, “Tori was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center” after having complained of severe stomach pains and headaches.

While there’s been no specific diagnosis for the ailments that landed Spelling in the hospital then and again a few days later, a so-called “source” says, “it could be stress-related.” “She feels overwhelmed with all of these statements about Dean,” which allege that her husband was never attracted to her, but married her to further his career. (Oddly, the same source who claims Dean’s using Spelling for professional reasons is later quoted as saying, “He doesn’t work because he doesn’t have to.” What happened to him using her for his career?)

“The stress is making her nauseous and she’s not eating,” say Star’s unnamed source, who concludes, “She’s risking her health.”

Who buys this? Not Gossip Cop.

First of all, the Star was wrong in reporting that Spelling went to Cedars-Sinai hospital. She never went to that facility. She was at another hospital.

Additionally, while there was no conclusive proof for what caused Spelling’s stomach pains, stress in her marriage is definitely NOT it. Her rep, who tells Gossip Cop that “the story has many inaccuracies,” reassures us that everything is good between Spelling and her husband. As for the mag’s contention that Spelling is withering away, “She’s at the same weight as was before she had children,” says the rep, who adds, Spelling is “doing better and is back at work.”

One thing I do agree with, Tori is way way too thin. She looks anorexic.

Yes… she does look very thin.
I wonder how much of that is actually Photoshop’d???

Anyone who follows them on Twitter know that her family had a bad bout of the flu. Our family was going thru it at the same time, so I sympathized with them. Sometimes, even with celebrities, the doctors can’t get a diagnosis right away.

If anyone was as on the go as she is–and such a hands on mom–they’d be thin too.
