Star busted for fake Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt cover

(Star magazine)

You CAN judge a magazine by its cover.

Take this week’s Star, which features Brad Pitt and a teary-eyed Angelina Jolie above a headline that screams, “The Fight To End All Fights!”

The tabloid alleges that the “their biggest fight ever” took place on November 15 in their Los Angeles home, where they reportedly battled over Thanksgiving Day plans.

Wow, the Star got photos of Pitt and Jolie after a major argument that culminated in tears?

No.

The picture (above right) of Pitt looking pensive was taken while the actor was promoting “Inglourious Basterds” two months before — on September 18 — at the San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain.

But the Star did capture Jolie crying after the fight, right?

No.

The photo of a sobbing Jolie was taken on June 20, 2003 — SIX YEARS AGO — when the Oscar-winning actress, a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commission for Refugees, was moved to tears during a World Refugee Day ceremony in Washington, DC.

The only sad thing here is how the Star has tried to dupe its readers.

What’s interesting to note is that, at the same time Star was sending this cover off to be published, Pitt and Jolie were photographed holding hands as they left the Beverly Hills restaurant La Dolce Vita.

Star’s cover is disgusting. What’s so sad is that so many people believe the lies and manipulations these magazines put out.

These tabloids never seem to get any consequences for their vile behavior. These “magazines” promote so much hatrid and are able to get away with it. Yet, when someone performs and is himself, an entire network launches a hate compaign against him. Unbelievable!

I think It’s pretty funny. I like how Angelina seems to ignore the tabloids. LoL I think Star is stealing stuff from Grazia magazine now… another fibber tab.

Totally disgusting and annoying. The thing about this it is a half truth. There are reports the police were sent, but it was a false alarm; however, Star magazine has decided to paint an ugly picture of disharmony. Shame on them! I can not understand how these hacks get away with such garbage. I know we all like to escape reality by reading about the supposed “glamorous” lives of others, but this is ridiculous. If anything Tiger Woods story should be the headline, of which I think is a private matter as well. However, these people peddle this smut and untruths to tarnish the reputation of two individuals who decided to become a couple and family. Thank god they have strength in their character because it takes a lot to put up with the BS on a constant basis. I must congratulate GossipCop for being on top of the “news” and showing these fakes for what they are. What a refreshing thought, the truth :-)
