Stan Lee is OK!

Earlier this evening, Us Weekly tweeted that the 88-year-old comic book legend had been rushed to the hospital from Comic-Con in San Diego.

Fortunately, the alarming rumor is NOT true.

Lee is still at the industry event and doing well, a rep confirms.

Now, Us Weekly has now retracted the tweet.

Lee, a Comic-Con fixture, had a hand in the creation of iconic superheroes including Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four and Iron Man.
