Spice Girls Reunite to Unveil Musical “Viva Forever!” in London

The Spice Girls reunited in London on Tuesday to launch “Viva Forever!” the new musical based on their songs.

Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Halliwell unveiled the production at the U.K. hotel where their first hit single “Wannabe” was filmed in 1996.

“Viva Forever!” tells the story of four friends who get swept up in fame when their band enters a TV talent competition.

Brown, aka “Scary Spice,” said the stars of the musical “sing it better than us.”

And Beckham — “Posh Spice” – said the show would “be introducing a whole new generation to Girl Power.”

The musical opens December 11 at London’s Piccadilly Theatre.
