The point of a “melting pot” is that everything is mixed. You anti-Whites ONLY ever call White countries “melting pots”.

Duh, homicides by firearm are lower in Britain-they can’t own guns but that doesn’t mean crime is less or that they have less homicides! They just beat them to death, stab them and other terrible things! Oh and British cops are carrying guns now in certain areas because the violence is so bad they fear to walk the streets. When they ask the New York City mayor for advice on stopping violence and assaults, they may not be your best example of a non gun policy being a positive thing, lol.

then explain to me why the number 1 cause of death isn’t gun violence but drunk drivers? why isn’t that going down? drinking and driving isn’t going down? it isn’t fair to me or other innocent people who drive cars or walk on sidewalks to get run down by idiots…i highly doubt there would be less shootings because honestly, most of the major shootings happen in BIG cities, like Chicago and NYC…you cannot prevent shootings from happen. you want to take away peoples rights to bare arms, i am 100& sure states from the south will secede and there could be a civil war…don’t think that is possible? in this day and age, ANYTHING is possible…any another thing, if you don’t live in the US and understand WHY we want to keep our guns, then you have absolutely no right to question or judge why there is violence in our country. every country has it’s problems…we’ll focus on ours, why do you go focus on yours…and that’s me being ignorant because i am not going to continue to explain my position to people who have no idea what or why i am defending 2nd amendment because every time i do, no one cares.

You’re not looking at the whole picture, anything could happen, cause people are letting it happen. If there was gun control, there would be less shooting’s. It’s not fair to the all the innocent people that are effected and have no choice but to live in these countries where there’s too much violence. It’s not their fault that they live in fear for their “whole entire life,” no body should have to. I live in the UK, were there is gun control and you barely hear about shooting on the news. I mean, I’m not saying there hasn’t been, cause there has but, it’s not as bad as in the US.

One thing!-I agree with you and I believe the reason behind this hypermania is very different than is portrayed. Guns mean power and control, and certain people like that only for themselves.
But….and it’s a BIG but….
I know we are talking about USA therefor politics in other countries may be irrelevant, but I can assure you that public philosophy about guns differ from country to country, and yes the facts does not lie, USA have the biggest gun crime rate.
It’s not only about guns, but also about authenticity of violance always presentable in American movies. I am not trying to criticise your country right now, but I am just stating obvious.
If 3 generations are rised with positive attitude to the violance, where gun is every day commodity, their feelings towards the gun crime is very much open.
I am living in Europe, and I grew up in communism, so when I read or hear that in your country is bullying in school, children being attacked, security have to check school and pupils for guns, fact that you can see children as small as 9 years old carrying guns and selling drogs…..it’s so unbelievable that although I know it is true, I don’t really acknowledge the facts to the deep level.
While in countries in Europe where guns were not allowed to own on the same level like in USA, people’s feeling towards them are very complex.
They feel responsible, too much aware of consequences,,and possibility of taking someone else’s life, and if they have it, it will be used as a last last last resort!
We can apply for a gun permit, but it’s hard to get it, specially if you have any previous conviction or will not pass a test. As far as I know you have to pass written test, shooting test( you need to train in the train centre for that), and you need to pass psychological test.
Many people have guns, people also hunting wild annals so they need to have gun, but you don’t see gun as a key to power. And I am serious.
Of course we have a gun crime, and we also had the luxury of people forming as they call “mafia”, and they certainly have guns. But if they targeting someone that person can go to police department or apply for a gun permit himself.
I agree with you though, people should have right to own a gun to protect their family, and gun does not kill people but people do. But imagine one child grow up in nice small city unefected by violance surrounded by nature and loving family and try compare him to the child who is around guns since he was born and violance is his everyday bread. Now imagine those two react in conflict?!
It’s a mathematical fact that first child would negotiate while the second one is going to point a gun.
It is undebatable that social culture , history, violance exposed and available 24/7 has a huge effect on crime, or people committing the crime.
And I promise you that those are facts every European would confirm.
I know it’s unimportant to you as social culture of your country is very different compare to the others.
I only pointing to the fact that your country got to the point where there is no return I am afraid. Or it will take one generation at least.

I do look at the whole picture…and honestly, anything can happen in life…if you think of the “what if this happened?..or this?”..you’ll be living in fear or hesitation your whole entire life. I live in NYC, handguns are the biggest problem here. But, I am not going to stop living here because of the violence. I am not going stop law abiding American citizens from owning guns. Gun violence will always be around. It’s inevitable. You can limit magazine clippings or take away certain guns but criminals won’t care about the law. and if you think about, all of these shootings occur either in areas where gang violence is a normal way of life or in gun free zones…

I mean, you’ve just got to look at the whole picture, and think what else could happen?
