Sofia Richie Responds Justin Bieber Selena Gomez

Sofia Richie has NOT responded to Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s Instagram drama, despite an inaccurate webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this fake claim.

As Gossip Cop reported, Bieber and Gomez allegedly had an Instagram fight on Sunday, but not all of the comments from the supposed correspondence were actually real. The situation stemmed from Bieber threatening to make his Instagram account private after several fans wrote mean comments about a photo of him with his new gal pal, Richie. Gomez then commented on the singer’s post, writing, “If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol -it should be special between you two only. Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you. They were there for you before anyone.”

And on Tuesday, not only did the musician in fact stop posting pictures of his girlfriend, Bieber deleted his Instagram account altogether. The pop star has been taking a lot of heat on Twitter as a result of all the drama, with many “Beliebers” accusing him of choosing Richie over them. The 17-year-old model has absolutely NOT weighed in on the controversy, and yet HollywoodLife is now referencing a fake Twitter account with the handle @sofiairichie to wrongly report that “Sofia Richie has spoken.”

The webloid writes, “Sofia took to Twitter to declare that [fans] need to ‘stop the damn hate,'” and then retweeted a comment from an unverified account purporting to belong to Richie. The bogus tweet said, “#purposetour is still on… The music is still coming.. Love who you want… Stop the damn hate… And love each other!!” The outlet posted yet another supposed “Sofia Richie” tweet that said, “Justin is not shutting out his beliebers. He’s thankful everyday for y’all, y’all got him here.. He doesn’t forget that.. Period.”

But Gossip Cop was exclusively told on Monday by a rep for Richie that “she doesn’t use Twitter,” and the account is “fake.” HollywoodLies is either unaware or unconcerned with this fact, despite us having already called out the webloid for a similarly false story. On Monday, the often discredited site wrongly reported Richie tweeted “love you” to Bieber as a way of “defending” him against Gomez. Again, Richie is NOT on Twitter, and she hasn’t publicly spoken about the situation, despite the clueless outlet’s unsubstantiated claims. It’s no wonder why Justin Bieber called HollywoodLife “garbage.”
