“So You Think You Can Dance” Results: Top 5 Revealed After “Next Generation” Elimination
“So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation” revealed the Top 5 on Monday. Get the full results below!
As Gossip Cop has reported, season 13 of the FOX competition is all about dancers between the ages of 8 and 13. Each of the Top 10 was paired up with an “All-Star,” an adult alum of the series, for a mentoring partnership. Some weeks, the older and younger pairings took the stage together, and other weeks it’s been all about the young contestants performing with each other… or both.
In early August, “SYTYCD” had a double elimination, in which Jordan and Jake were sent home. The show then went on a two-week hiatus for the Olympics, and now the series has come back in a big way. The remaining six contestants all performed live, but it was the votes cast after that August 1 episode that determined the results at the end of the new two-hour broadcast.
Host Cat Deeley revealed Ruby was the one eliminated after earning the lowest amount of votes. The Top 5 now consists of Tate (age 12, contemporary with All-Star Kathryn McCormick), Kida (age 13, hip-hop with All-Star Fik Shun), JT (age 10, contemporary with All-Star Robert Roldan), Emma (age 10, tap with All-Star and reigning “SYTYCD” winner Gabby Diaz), and Tahani (age 12, hip-hop with All-Star Comfort Fedoke).
The process will repeat next week, with the votes for tonight’s show determining who makes the Top 4 during the series’ 250th episode. Watch full video of the results announcement below.
