“So You Think You Can Dance” Results: Top 6 Revealed After “Next Generation” Double Elimination
“So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation” had a double elimination at the end of Monday’s show. Get the full results below!
As Gossip Cop reported last week, season 13 of the FOX competition went from the Top 9 to the Top 8 when Sheaden was eliminated. Now this time around, the Top 8 all performed live for the judges once more. But for the first time, two dancers had to go home at the end of the two-hour broadcast.
And the results were entirely based on the votes viewers cast for last week’s performances. Instead of the judges picking to save one of the Bottom Two, both were to get the boot. And host Cat Deeley revealed it was time for Jordan (age 13, contemporary with All-Star Sasha Mallory) and Jake (age 12, ballroom with All-Star Jenna Johnson) to go home.
Now the Top 6 consists of Tate (age 12, contemporary with All-Star Kathryn McCormick), Kida (age 13, hip-hop with All-Star Fik Shun), JT (age 10, contemporary with All-Star Robert Roldan), Emma (age 10, tap with All-Star and reigning “SYTYCD” winner Gabby Diaz), Tahani (age 12, hip-hop with All-Star Comfort Fedoke), and Ruby (age 12, ballroom with All-Star Paul Karmiryan).
Check out video of the results announcement below. “SYTYCD” won’t be on for the next two weeks, but Gossip Cop will have full coverage when it resumes on August 22.
