Snoop Dogg channels Bob Marley on this Thursday’s “Lip Sync Battle,” during which the rapper will cover the reggae classic “Could You Be Loved.” Watch a preview clip below!

Snoop Dogg will be competing against Los Angeles Clippers star Chris Paul on the upcoming episode of the popular Spike series, which sees celebrities facing off in a pretend-singing contest. The rapper wears dreadlocks while decked out in an African rastacap, similar to the one Marley wore, while mock singing the legendary performer’s tune. And also comparable to Marley, Snoop Dogg’s admiration for marijuana is no secret.

Meanwhile, NBA all-star Paul will be singing along to New Edition’s 80s track “Candy Girl.” His and Snoop Dogg’s second songs have yet to be revealed. The show is currently in its second season, with this year’s previous celebrity competitors having included Channing Tatum vs. his wife Jenna Dewan, Kevin Hart vs. Olivia Munn, Josh Gad vs. Kaley Cuoco, and Gigi Hadid vs. Tyler Posey. Some of the upcoming showdowns include Gina Rodriguez vs. Wilmer Valderrama, Josh Peck vs. Christina Milian, and Shaquille O’Neal vs. Aisha Tyler.

The new episode of “Lip Sync Battle” airs Thursday at 10 p.m. on Spike. Watch a preview clip below!
