Snoop Dogg Busted for Pot in Texas

Snoop Dogg was busted for marijuana possession in Texas over the weekend.

Authorities searched the rapper’s tour bus in Sierra Blanca, the same small town near El Paso where fellow weed icon Willie Nelson was arrested for pot in November 2010.

The bus was stopped at a border patrol, and after the discovery of some joints, Snoop was cited for misdemeanor drug possession but not taken into custody.

The performer has a legal prescription for the drug in California, but law enforcement is notoriously tough on cannabis in West Texas, where rappers Paul Wall and Baby Bash got pinched for marijuana possession last September.

    He has a license for it in California. He just needs to remember not to have any with him when outside the state when working.

    It should be a legal drug. It’s not the harmful drug people make it out to be.

    Totally agree!!! Should be legal everywhere in the word..funny how its okay to kill ourselves with cigarettes but pot is out of the question..Clearly these cops have nothing better to do, like stopping real crime maybe? ridiculous!
