Women Of SNL Rap About Being A “Back Home Baller” During Thanksgiving (VIDEO)
The women of “SNL” — Kate McKinnon, Cecily Strong, Lisa Jones, Sasheer Zamata, Vanessa Bayer, Aidy Bryant and guest host Cameron Diaz — did a rap about being a “Back Home Baller” when they return to the parents for Thanksgiving. Basically, they say in verse that even though they’re grown women, whenever they’re home, they get mommy and daddy to do whatever they want.
The women begin rapping about how their “parents are real happy to see us, so they’re going to treat us like queens,” adding, “This may be their house, but for the next four days, we’re gonna run this bitch.” McKinnon sings about handing off her luggage to her “valet,” which is actually her daddy, and how the refrigerator is fully stocked, thanks to mom going to Costco. Meanwhile, Zamata raps about leaving her dishes dirty and doing a laundry cycle for just one sock.
Dressed like Pussycat Dolls and rappers, the women then launch into a chorus about being a “back home baller. If I want something, I just holler.”
Bryant then sings about how her parents’ house is still filled with her childhood paintings, as if it were a shrine to her, while Strong raps that she pretends to be napping when he mom needs help. Bayer says she gets high on drugs while everyone goes to bed. And Jones raps about how her mom puts out tons of bowls for her of things like nuts, mints, chips, potpourri, and M&Ms. “I’m up to my ass in bowls,” says Jones.
The women also make fun of how the wifi passwords at their parents’ homes are hundreds of random letters and numbers. Check out the video below, and tell us what you think.
