Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Talk Trayvon Martin Case in Piers Morgan Parody on SNL

VIDEO

(NBC)

“Saturday Night Live” took on the highly charged Trayvon Martin case with a parody of Piers Morgan’s CNN show.

In the sketch, Morgan (Taran Killam) interviews individuals completely unrelated to the case, including “Law & Order: SVU” star Ice-T, and Kanye West (Jay Pharoah) and  Kim Kardashian (Nasim Pedrad), who discuss their new relationship.

Awful Piers impression but all the other characters were hysterical.

SNL really lost their minds here. To put the Trayvon Martin tragedy in a comedy skit in ANY way is the epitome of bad taste.

Rite, I love SNL but… it’s too soon way too soon

I disagree. The magic of comedy is that it can make us laugh even in the face of tragedy. Where I grew up we laughed about our situations to keep from crying. The Trayvon Martin case itself is of course no laughing matter, but the way some of the media has chosen to deal with it is sorta laughable. I think SNL is hilarious. Kim and Kayne’s characters…priceless! LMBO!

my best friend’s mother-in-law made $17199 the prior month. she has been working on the internet and bought a $515700 home. All she did was get lucky and apply the guide leaked on this site >>> http://makeonlinecash2.blogspot.in

Why would anyone what to make light of the situation. The is one of the times where it’s just completely out of line and not in the least bit funny.

I agree.I don’t think they’re not making fun of the Trayvon case, but merely mocking how the some media outlets have chosen to discuss it & using Piers Morgan as an example.
But I don’t think this case is a laughing matter at all & I doubt they’d even make fun of it, it didn’t seem that way to me.

I can’t not believe SNL would be so effing disrespectful to Trayvon Martin’s family and friends! What the hell were they thinking?! It’s totally WRONG for them to do this!!!!

  • Habs1

They used someones dead loved one who will never laugh again as a back drop for their sorry show. How funny would it be if it were your son, daughter, brother, sister, mother or father? Not so funny is it?

I used to like SNL—-Now there just fuckin stupid—no respect for Trayvon fam–dats sad…

  • Crapola

Watered down so much to be politically correct that it isn’t funny. Have a Richard Pryor type tell the joke.

  • Petsounds1968

Piers Morgan interviewed Mike Tyson about the case IN REAL LIFE.
    Where was the outrage?

  • Mr. Philadelphia

How would you feel if it was your son or child killed for whatever reason, and then a month or two later the media is having a party and making money laughing at him or her death. White or black we all mourn the same and have feelings very strong feelings when someone disrespect our love ones, so think before you speak, SNL can find other shit to make jokes out of im sure.

I would want to know what Mike Tyson thought about it.
