Betty Confidential, which posted a story titled, “Lindsay Lohan’s Tearful Phone Call With Her Dad,” must have gotten its signals crossed.
The blog claims, “An insider tells BettyConfidential that the 23-year-old had a heavy-duty conversation with her dad last week. The rehabbed starlet is going through a rough patch right now and is currently estranged from her mom, Dina, and her dad, but she agreed to speak to Michael after friends persuaded her to try to make peace with him.”
Really?!
BettyConfidential says Lindsay and Michael Lohan had a “short phone call” and, according to a so-called insider, “there were tears. It was painful for both of them.”
The site’s same source goes on to say “Lindsay and her mom haven’t spoken for months.”
Well, here’s what’s wrong with the story: EVERYTHING.
First, Lindsay recently told Gossip Cop she hasn’t spoken to her dad in a long time. Her rep also confirmed, “She isn’t speaking to him.”
Second, there seems to be some sort of disconnect with the line about how she and Dina Lohan “haven’t spoken for months.” Lindsay “is totally good with Dina,” a reliable source tell Gossip Cop.
Lohan’s rep said Betty Confidential’s story was simply “not true.”
