Simone Biles Slays ‘Moana’ Routine On ‘Dancing With The Stars’ (VIDEO)
Simone Biles and partner Sasha Farber slayed again on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.” On “Disney Night,” they performed a contemporary dance routine to “How Far I’ll Go” from Moana, and its star Auli’i Carvalho sang the song live. Watch the video below.
A favorite of the fans and judges, Biles had the second highest score last week, with a total of 36 out of 40 points. Biles hopes to follow in the footsteps of her Rio Olympics teammate Laurie Hernandez, who won last season’s “Dancing With The Stars.” And she seems to be moving in the right direction.
For Week Four’s competition, Biles did a Viennese waltz. Len Goodman said, “It was your best dance so far… Well done.” Julianne Hough praised the gymnast for bringing tremendous emotion to her performance. Bruno Tonlioli felt she “danced beautifully,” and Carrie Ann Inaba called Biles’s performance “breathtaking.”
For her dance on “Disney Night,” Hough expressed, “The choreography was fantastic.” Carrie Ann Inaba felt it was “powerful” and “poetic.” Tonioli exclaimed, “you were triumphant.” And Goodman offered, “I absolutely loved it.” Following the judges’ critiques, Biles received a total of 38 out of 40 points.
