Simon Cowell Comes Face-To-Face With Home Intruder; Trespasser Arrested

Simon Cowell came face-to-face with an intruder on Saturday night in his multimillion dollar London home.

Shortly after 10 p.m., while Cowell was watching TV downstairs, a woman identified as Leanne Zaloumis broke into his home with a brick.

When Cowell went upstairs to see what the noise was, he reportedly found Zaloumis in one of his bathrooms.

Zaloumis, who has been termed by some as an “overzealous fan,” was detained by Cowell’s security and held until the police arrived at around 10:35 p.m.

She was charged with suspicion of aggravated burglary, though it doesn’t appear anything was taken.

A spokeswoman for Cowell would not elaborate on what went down, only telling Gossip Cop, “This is now a police matter.”

A Scotland Yard spokesman confirmed, “Officers attended the address and found a woman had forced entry to the premises. She was arrested and taken to a west London police station.”
