Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel Feuding At ‘America’s Got Talent’?
“AGT” creator Cowell has joined the reality competition show as a judge for its latest season, but according to OK!, there are problems on set. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “[Simon] makes no bones about the fact that he thinks Howie is an idiot. There’s a lot of tension, with Howie complaining that he’s the only American judge and that Simon is a jerk to everyone.”
The magazine’s dubious insider further claims that Mandel is annoyed by the poster for the show, which supposedly denotes the cast’s “pecking order.” “Simon is front and center, and Howie’s smaller and as far off to the side as he can be,” says the outlet’s seemingly phony source.
But Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Mandel, who exclusively assures us there are absolutely no problems between the comedian and his new co-judge. We’re told that the two get along well, and the magazine’s feud claim is simply “not true.”
Of course, we’re not particularly surprised that the tabloid would try and stir up a fake fight behind-the-scenes of “America’s Got Talent.” Gossip Cop previously corrected OK!’s sister publication, the National Enquirer, for falsely alleging that Mandel and former judge Howard Stern wouldn’t speak to each other off-camera. There was no truth to that tale, and the magazine’s latest “AGT” drama is similarly made-up.
