“The Battle Over Britney” screams a headline in Star, which goes on to claim that new “X Factor” judge Britney Spears is now “torn” between Jason Trawick and Simon Cowell.

How so?

According to the tab, Cowell “banked on Britney acting crazy under the pressure and giving the show a ratings bonanza.”

The problem, says Star, is Spears’ fiance, Trawick. who allegedly keeps a “24/7 watch over his lady love to keep her calm and focused.”

“Simon definitely feels like the show would be more fun if Jason wasn’t there,” says a so-called “insider,” who adds that Cowell “wouldn’t mind Britney having a big freakout on camera.”

So, just how far is he allegedly willing to go to get what he wants?

“Simon is getting in Britney’s ear, trying to plant the seed for her to break up with Jason,” claims the supposed “insider.”

Seriously?

Meanwhile, Spears is falling for it, alleges Star’s “source,” who says the pop star is not only “pulling away from Jason,” but is also “already showing the telltale signs of an impending breakdown.”

ENOUGH!

For weeks now, Star and other outlets have been rooting for Spears to fail, even though she appears to be having a great and memorable time at the auditions.

Regardless, Star’s allegations of a rift between any of the three are 100 percent FALSE.

A spokeswoman for Cowell tells Gossip Cop, “This story is completely made up – Simon thinks Jason is fantastic.”

    Can we Try to get the overall picture??… Simon Cowell and advice?? Has he done ok for those who are and have been around him during his ride in the entertainment field?? Well, overall could Brittany Spears benefit through this advice? If she is in fact receiving Simon’s advice, is anyone giving her better advice? Is this all just one more step in a positive direction for all concerned? Is Simon Cowell’s latest so-called plan the best way to go for Brittany and her inner circle and is he a good person in this respect, and not intentionally going out of his way to trip up anyone? The question of true success for Simon Cowell answers itself and it appears that if he wants to lend a hand and someone wants the direction and we’ll see in all’s ok that ends ok, no? Who else, if not all, benefits from this next step? Are we seeing another step in the wisdom of a good or even great plan by someone who can be trusted For someone who can stand the direction? We’re just sayin’ … and they’re all beautiful people and we like beautiful people, don’t we?
