Shooting Down Rumor of AnnaLynne McCord playing Cupid for Kellan Lutz

Kellan Lutz, last romantically linked to AnnaLynne McCord, is now dating McCord’s “90210” co-star Jessica Lowndes, claims the National Enquirer.

The supermarket tab says McCord “decided to play Cupid and hook [Lutz] up with… Lowndes.” Remarkably, the rag found an alleged “insider” to say, “Kellan and Jessica are totally hot for each other, and they’re both so thankful to AnnaLynne for setting them up!”

According to the Enquirer, Lutz and Lowndes were “hot ‘n’ heavy at a post-Emmy party.”

Really?

Even their so-called “source” didn’t witness anything that could called “hot ‘n’ heavy.” In fact, the tipster only said, “Jessica and Kellan stuck to each other’s side… He kept whispering in her ear and had a hand on her leg most of the night.”

Well, Gossip Cop thinks this tale about Lowndes and the “Twilight” vampire sucks – and not blood.

First, Lutz and Lowndes hung out together – but platonically – since they are friends from when he appeared on “90210.” Also, a source tells Gossip Cop that Lowndes is not only still dating “Breaking Bad” star Aaron Paul, but was with him at the Emmys. And just in case you still think there’s some truth to the Enquirer’s story, Lowndes’ rep tells Gossip Cop flat out that the actress is “absolutely not” dating Lutz.
