Shia LaBeouf Abruptly Bolts Out Of Berlin Press Conference — WATCH VIDEO HERE!
Shia LaBeouf abruptly left a press conference for his new movie Nymphomaniac at the Berlin International Film Festival on Sunday (photos, video below).
The star, making his first formal appearance in nearly a year, was on stage with Uma Thurman, Christian Slater, Stellan Skarsgard and director Lars von Trier when he was asked about the movie’s sex scenes. LaBeouf took a drink of water and replied, “When the seagulls follow the trawler, it’s because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. Thank you very much.” He then got up and walked off stage amid a smattering of applause and laughs, including some from his colleagues.
Not surprisingly, neither the quote nor the walk-off was original, but a near carbon-copy of an incident with French soccer player Eric Cantona back in 1995 (see both videos below).
Last month, the actor claimed his recent behavior was all carefully-constructed “performance art.” Check out the photos and video below, and tell us what you think.
