Shia LaBeouf “Kicked Out” of Comedy Club For Heckling and Crashing Stage?
“Shia LaBeouf may be trying to clean up his act, but it appears his erratic behavior is only ramping up,” says OK!, which claims the actor’s “antics began immediately” when he went to the Ha Ha Café Comedy Club in Hollywood on July 19 with his girlfriend.
A so-called “eyewitness” alleges to the magazine that LaBeouf “had no money for tickets,” and “just stood outside until security let the pair in after recognizing them.”
OK! says “things went downhill from there,” claiming “the actor started heckling the comedians, then got onstage, grabbed the mic and started telling his own unfunny jokes before being kicked out.”
“No one knew whether to laugh or be worried,” the “source” tells the tabloid. “It was uncomfortable.”
OK! then notes the alleged incident “seems like déjà vu,” following LaBeouf’s arrest last month for disrupting a performance of Cabaret.
And that is exactly why the magazine thought it could run this piece and get away with it — if he did it once, surely people would believe he did it again, right?
Virtually every public incident with LaBeouf, for better or worse, has been well-documented, and then reported to the world almost immediately.
The notion that LaBeouf caused a ruckus in a Los Angeles venue and no one photographed it, videotaped it, or reported it within the past week and a half since it allegedly happened is ridiculous.
In any case, a rep for LaBeouf says the incident never took place.
