Shia LaBeouf Disrespectful To Female Staffers At ‘Late Late Show’?
Shia LaBeouf was NOT disrespectful or sleazy towards female staffers backstage at “The Late Late Show,” despite a completely false tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s not true.
According to Star, the actor behaved like a “condescending chauvinist” on the set of James Corden’s late night talk show. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “He never asked a guy for anything, only the females, and in a very patronizing way. He’d say things like ‘Get me more water, sweetie,’ or ‘There’s a good girl’ to assistants and producers. He was very disrespectful.”
The tabloid’s dubious insider further purports that LaBeouf was also “acting like a single guy and eyeing up pretty woman,” despite having just gotten married to Mia Goth. “He just had an air of sleaze about him,” adds the outlet’s questionable source. But Gossip Cop checked in with a reliable source close to the situation, who exclusively assures us the magazine’s account of events is simply false. We’re told LaBeouf was “in great spirits” during his appearance at the show, and was “sweet and totally respectful” during his time there.
Unfortunately, we’re not surprised by this bogus story. Gossip Cop previously called out Star’s sister publication, OK!, for falsely claiming LaBeouf was kicked out of a comedy club for heckling the comedian. There was no truth to that report, and the same goes for this latest one.
