Sherri Shepherd took to Twitter to reflect on her time on “The View” hours after it was announced she and Jenny McCarthy will be leaving the series.

As Gossip Cop reported, Shepherd released a formal statement about her exit early Thursday night, saying, “It’s been seven wonderful years on ‘The View’ and after careful consideration it is time for me to move on.”

Shortly after, McCarthy also confirmed she will not return for the next season.

While it seems that McCarthy was fired from the morning chatfest as the series gets retooled, a source tells Gossip Cop that Shepherd and ABC could not reach a deal for a new contract.

She tweeted after the news, “The number 7 is God’s number of completion & after 7 seasons my time at The View is now complete! So grateful2 every1 4their love & support.”

“Incredibly grateful to my second mom @BarbaraJWalters for pushing me beyond my comfort zone,” Shepherd went on. “It’s been amazing doing it scared! #joy”

The comedic actress, who is also going through a nasty divorce, continued, “Life should be lived. Run towards the things that scare you. Choose joy and trust God – everything else will work out as it should.”

And for those worried about McCarthy, Shepherd assured fans that she’s in good hands — and shared a photo to prove it (see above).

“Mr @DonnieWahlberg always takes care of his ladies @jennymccarthy & me! To be continued… ;O)” Shepherd captioned the Instagram pic.

For his part, Wahlberg tweeted, “My View isn’t changing. Standing by my baby’s side all the way! Love you Jenny! You too Sherri! #sisters”
