Donald Trump Suing Sheena Monnin, Contestant Who Claims Miss USA Rigged

Sheena Monnin just resigned as Miss Pennsylvania 2012, accusing the Miss USA pageant of being rigged.

Now the competition’s owner, Donald Trump, is — not surprisingly — firing back.

Shortly after Miss Rhode Island Olivia Culpo was crowned the pageant’s winner on Sunday, Monnin congratulated her fellow contestants on Facebook.

Then she dropped a bombshell.

“I have decided to resign my position as Miss Pennsylvania USA 2012,” wrote Monnin, explaining that she thinks the Miss Universe Organization is “fraudulent, lacking in morals, inconsistent, and in many ways trashy.”

Specifically, Monnin alleges that the top five finishers were selected before the show even began, and that another contestant had seen a folder containing a list of the names beforehand — names that supposedly matched the actual top group of women on the broadcast.

On Wednesday’s “Today Show,” Trump blasted Monnin’s allegations, calling her charges “ridiculous” and “disgraceful” and vowing to sue her.

Trump says Monnin never had a shot at making the Top 15 and is just “angry” after failing to do so.

    I don’t agree with Ms. Monnin’s views on a number of things, but without a doubt she was by far the most beautiful woman in the pageant. We watched the show and were surprised by the choices, specifically the fact that neither Miss Pennsylvania nor Miss Colorado went far in the judging. Both were major beauties.

    She is COMPLETELY right, and I support Sheena Monnins in every way. I ran for Miss Arizona USA in 2010, and the winner was the runner up the year before. Mind you, she was not the most ‘beautiful’ in the pagaent. Although, they say it is not all about looks, and more about what the girl has to offer, Grace and Poise. It has been that way for the past 3 years that I have wittnessed. If you don’t have money or something fake to offer, you are not in the top 5.

    They were runner up because they were the best then, with more experience behind them of course they are going to win. Winning pageants is about more then looks, yes you have to be beautiful, but those with the most training know how to get the judges attention and how to win.

    I fully support Miss Monnin. Regardless of transgender people change their APPEARANCE they will always be men, because their DNA will always have the XY Chromosome pair. These people are living a farce and they do not address their emotional issues that underly their psychiatric/psychological dysfunction that causes them to disfigure and bastardize their bodies to look like the other gender. In addition, a transgender woman has all the advantages of manipulating their bodies with hormones and implants. We need to have pageants of REAL women who do not have any implants or other cosmetic surgery.
