Sharon Osbourne BLASTS U2 As “Megalomaniacs,” Tells Band “F*CK YOU!”
The surprise record, called Songs of Innocence, popped up in iTunes users’ libraries last week, whether they wanted it or not.
That is NOT sitting well with Osbourne, who knows a thing or two about the music business, having been a manager for decades.
The outspoken personality tweeted Monday, “U2 you are business moguls not musicians anymore. No wonder you have to give your mediocre music away for free cause no one wants to buy it.”
“Guys nothing is for free, how much you making? PS, btw you are just a bunch of middle age political groupies,” she continued.
Osbourne went on, “Whose political ass are we going to pull you out of today? Or are you front row at another tragic fashion show?”
She also targeted iTunes and U2’s Interscope label and its boss, writing, “Jimmy Iovine, iTunes, U2, you’re a bunch of megalomaniacs. F*CK YOU!
And the TV host isn’t the only Osbourne to feel that way.
On Sunday, son Jack tweeted, “Hey @U2 just because you’re giving away free sh*t doesn’t mean i want it. Thanks now stay out of my iPhone. #U2virus #U2aretheNSA.”
