Shailene Woodley: “I Got Rid of Everything I Owned” After Filming Divergent
Shailene Woodley, now making mega-movie money, told Seth Meyers on Thursday’s “Late Night” that after she finished shooting Divergent, she opted for a simpler life that included crashing on friends’ couches for months and getting rid of all her possessions.
The actress, who’s recently dissed Twiilight, referred to George Clooney as “my second dad,” and discussed sunbathing her vagina, said on the talk show that once she finished production on the upcoming film, “I cruised and I hung out with my friends and family. I got rid of everything I owned.”
“I got rid of my cell phone, and I fit my life into a carry-on suitcase and I just couch surfed for two months. It was awesome,” added Woodley.
Meyers wished her success with Divergent so “that you can buy your own couch.”
Woodley also talks about her dreams, being a survivalist and much more.
