Seth MacFarlane: I Will NOT Host Oscars Again

Seth MacFarlane says he won’t host the Oscars again.

Early Tuesday, a Twitter follower asked the performer whether he’d take the gig again if asked, and MacFarlane responded, “No way. Lotta fun to have done it, though.”

The polarizing emcee was a controversial choice whose jokes during the ceremony raised eyebrows, although the telecast’s ratings were up.

    as for me i really enjoyed the show , some jokes worked some not so much but that’s the way it is .with any host. i like seth macfarlane and still do . good job the oscars are usually boring anyway , he made it just a bit more fun ….. still too long but that’s not his fault !

    I understand why everybody was shocked, but come on! He’s Seth MacFarlane. What were you expecting? And I’ve nothing against him. I love what he does, but the Academy knew what kind of jokes he was going to make.

    Loved that he classed it up with the classic numbers that were included. Some of his jokes just weren’t funny, though. Just came off as tasteless.
