Selena Gomez To Star In The Revised Fundamentals Of Caregiving With Paul Rudd
Selena Gomez is going to star with Paul Rudd in The Revised Fundamentals Of Caregiving. On Monday, Gossip Cop exclusively reported that Gomez was going to announce she was starring in a new film, and now it’s official. Gomez first shared her big news with Gossip Cop at HBO’s party for the Golden Globes.
In the movie, written and directed by “Late Show With David Letterman” executive producer Rob Burnett, Rudd stars as a guy who decides to become a caregiver and ends up looking after a teen named Trevor, who’s suffering from Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a disease which causes muscles to quickly deteriorate. Gomez is set to play Dot, an adventurous teen who joins up with the two while they’re on a road trip. Naturally, Trevor falls for Dot. The Revised Fundamentals Of Caregiving begins shooting in Atlanta, starting on January 22. The film is based on the Jonathan Evison novel of the same name.
Soon after revealing her new project to Gossip Cop at the HBO party on Sunday, Gomez head over to the InStyle Golden Globes bash, where she hung out with her co-star Paul Rudd and posted a picture of the two of them (see below).
