Selena Gomez Did NOT Hang With Orlando Bloom To Make Justin Bieber “Jealous,” Despite Report
Selena Gomez did not hang out with Orlando Bloom on Saturday night to make Justin Bieber “jealous,” despite another fabricated report from a webloid with a history of making up stories. Gossip Cop is told the whole tale is filled with inaccuracies.
According to HollywoodLife, after spending time with Bieber at the Montage Hotel’s pool in Beverly Hills, Gomez went to Bloom’s Malibu home to make “the Biebs jelly.” (We’re assuming that’s how middle schoolers say “jealous.”) The unreliable webloid then quotes one of its seemingly made-up sources as saying that Gomez and Bloom “love to flirt,” and that she “wants Justin to know that she has her own life and that there lots of guys out there who are interested in her. A little bit of jealousy can’t hurt… She’s keeping Justin on his toes this time around.”
The story HollywoodLies wants its readers to believe is (1) that Gomez and Bieber are back together, and (2) that hours after seemingly reconciling with her ex-boyfriend, she decided to make him “jelly” by going to Bloom’s house. It’s all wrong and infantile.
In no particular order, Gomez and Bloom have been friends for more than a year now. They don’t “flirt.” Gomez is also not back together with Bieber and has no reason nor inclination to make him jealous, as grownups say. Gossip Cop is told that, seemingly unlike the webloid’s sources, all the parties involved are adults, and Gomez is not interested in dating Bieber again. In fact, Gossip Cop busted the blog when it wrongly claimed that back in May. Both Bieber and Gomez have moved on, but apparently HollywoodLife has not.
Gossip Cop has repeatedly corrected the webloid for making up tales about all three parties, and sadly this one is no different. We’re sure the blog will manufacture, as it is wont to do, a follow-up story about how Taylor Swift feels about this (imaginary) scenario. In any event, a source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop exclusively that the latest tale from the site is “the same old garbage.”
