Being a celebrity as scary.

scary situation indeed for selena and her friends/family i hope this guy gets the mental treatment he needs, he obviously has some serious issues. i would be scared too if i were her, hopefully her team/cops can keep this nutcase far far far away from her.

This could cause a critical re-evaluation on Selena’s part of just how she acts and what she does. She is well known for her habit of liking to just go out to places like the beach and the mall and hangout like a normal 19 year old woman does. She has often talked about her and Taylor or other friends going to lunch or movie and just hanging out. She is also very approachable in the way that she interacts with her fans, so this is definitely a game changer if true. It is really sad that there are people who have these kinds of issues and make threats against others..

Oh man… What a sick and twisted person to even think about threatening another life is so not right. I really hope he does get some kind of help.

That’s one of the reasons why the paparazzi should stay a distance from celebrities because you will never know when there is somebody among them that is just that crazy (as in the article) posing as a paparazzi. They should have some type of identification with a picture showing that they are licensed to take their pics. Then the papz are crazy too. I have seen them throw bottles at celebrities and do all kinds of crazy stuff to them. Celebs can live a dangerous unprotected life to me to be hunted down the way they are done today.

Maybe he fancies Justin Bieber.

Good. (About the restraining order, not about the threats.) The guy is clearly nuts, and he needs to be kept far away from her, and anyone else he might try to harm.

Why the “extreme fear?”

What if you — almost — got hit by a car. Would you still be in extreme fear over it?

Better to simply be more careful around cars.

Which could be applied to other could-be “extremely fearful” things. Like, say, strangers.

I think this should qualify as a credible threat, and the law should be rewritten to say it is enough for this guy to be deemed “a danger to himself or others” — I would think he should be involuntarily committed and receive treatment to try to clear his psychotic thinking. Why do we have to wait for him to act on his delusions?

How can Selena feel safe if there is a restraining order against someone who thinks he is having conversations with God? I hope she hires security to supplement the police, so they all can watch this guy 24/7 and nab him the moment he breaks that order.

These threats I think should be consistently taken seriously by the police. Maybe its a prank but its important to be on the safe side. I feel sorry Selena Gomez is going through this. She doesn’t deserve it.
