Sean Kingston is alleged to have orchestrated the beating of a club promoter after a dispute over his appearance fee.

According to TMZ, the performer had been set to host at Avalon in Hollywood on Wednesday after reportedly agreeing to an $11,000 payment.

The outlet says that Kingston received half of his money up front, but then showed up several hours late and failed to promote the appearance sufficiently on social media.

TMZ claims that after Kingston arrived, he had his entourage pin the promoter against a wall, demanding the rest of the payment.

They allegedly swiped the man’s watch, iPhone, and thousands of dollars in cash.

Police were called to the venue, and the promoter told cops Kingston had ordered the attack.

Kingston has not been named as an official suspect in the police report; the performer’s bodyguards are identified as witnesses.
