Sean Hayes And Husband Scott Icenogle Celebrate Same-Sex Marriage Legalization With New Lip Sync Video — WATCH!
Sean Hayes and Scott Icenogle celebrated the Supreme Court’s decision to legalize gay marriage on Friday with an amazing song-and-dance number. The “Will & Grace” star and his husband are thrilled same-sex couples are now allowed to wed in all 50 states, and they showed their excitement by recreating a scene from the classic 1952 musical Singin’ in the Rain. Watch the funny and touching video below!
With Hayes in the Gene Kelly role and Icenogle channeling Donald O’Connor, the duo lip synced a performance of the song “Fit As a Fiddle (And Ready for Love),” paying homage to an old movie while celebrating a new milestone in American history. It’s the latest fun video in what’s becoming a series of duets from the married couple. As Gossip Cop reported in March, the two harmonized a spot-on lip sync of the Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Hudson collaboration song “Trouble.” They also previously belted out “I Don’t Like It, I Love It,” by Flo-Rida and Robin Thicke.
This one, however, has a much higher production level, and you’ll notice some familiar faces like Bert and Ernie. And Hayes had extra reason to celebrate. As he noted in his Facebook post, Friday is also his birthday. Hayes and Icenogle married last November, shortly after confirming they were engaged after eight years together, as Gossip Cop reported at the time. Watch the couple act out their animated rendition of “Fit As a Fiddle” below, and let us know what you think.
