Scott Disick Kidney Trouble Claim NOT Accurate
Scott Disick is not suffering kidney trouble, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can correct this claim. We’re told it’s not true.
A source tells Us Weekly, Disick has been “sick for a while.” The alleged insider adds, “He’s been told numerous times that if he doesn’t stop, he’ll need a liver transplant or dialysis.” The tabloid’s source notes, “His drinking is making it worse.”
It’s true Disick drinks too much, and it’s true excessive drinking can cause liver disease and kidney issues as well. But Disick is not currently suffering kidney problems. We’re told that while Disick has been repeatedly warned about the ill effects of alcohol, he does not have kidney disease. Of course, if he continues boozing, that could all change for the reality star.
As Gossip Cop has previously reported, Disick has been in and out of rehab over the years. In October 2015, he checked into Cliffside Malibu. That stint lasted a month. Before that, Disick went to a treatment center in Costa Rica, but checked out not long after entering the facility. And, of course, it was his drunken antics in Monte Carlo with ex-girlfriend Chloe Bartoli last July that led to the demise of Disick’s nine-year relationship with Kourtney Kardashian.
In no way is Gossip Cop trying to diminish the severity or the deleterious effects of heavy drinking. We’re simply reporting that, as of now, the Us Weekly claim about Disick suffering kidney troubles is inaccurate.
