Scarlett Johansson Talks Hosting ‘SNL’ Five Times During Monologue – WATCH VIDEO
Scarlett Johansson opened her “SNL” monologue by talking about how she’s hosted the show five times. She then talked about her upcoming film with Kate McKinnon. But all the highlight clips from Johansson’s four times on the sketch comedy show and from her film with McKinnon featured Kenan Thompson, who put together the reels. See the video below of Johansson’s “Saturday Night Live” monologue.
As noted, this marks the fifth time Johansson has hosted “Saturday Night Live.” She made her “SNL” debut in 2006, with Death Cab For Cutie as the musical guest. She then returned the next year, backed musically by Bjork. In 2010, Johansson came back with Arcade Fire as the musical guest. And the last time the actress hosted the sketch comedy show was in 2015, along with musical guest Wiz Khalifa. During her monologue then, she talked about being a new mom before singing a sexed-up up version of “Love You Baby,” complete with lots of moaning and thrusting.
Johansson’s “SNL” appearance comes in advance of the release of her new film Ghost In The Shell, which is slated to hit theaters on March 31. In the movie, based on a Japanese comic series, Johansson plays a part-human, part-cyborg cop who must take down hackers and cybercriminals. And then in June, as mentioned above, she’ll will star alongside McKinnon in the comedy Rough Night, which is about five women who rent a home in Miami Beach for a bachelorette party, during which they accidentally kill a male stripper.
