The man who hacked into Scarlett Johansson’s e-mail and distributed nude photos of her should pay the actress more than $66,000, say federal prosecutors.

As Gossip Cop previously reported, Christopher Chaney pleaded guilty in March to nine felony counts, including wiretapping and unauthorized access to a computer.

He was accused of hacking into the e-mail accounts of Johansson and other stars, including Christina Aguilera.

In pre-sentencing papers, prosecutors recommend Johansson be compensated $66,179.46, with another $7,500 going to Aguilera.

The U.S. Attorneys handling the case also say Chaney should serve 71 months in federal prison, according to the Los Angeles Times.

He will be sentenced on July 23.

Do you think Chaney should pay restitution to the celebrities he hacked?

ACtually the difference is that a celebrity can generate enough public interest for the media to care and of course enough money to pursue a case.

He is a scum bag for hacking her stuff…..wasn’t impressed with what I saw though…she is overrated in the looks department. She of course played the victim card quite well and turned this into a win for her.

These dirtbags who hack into accounts and cause trouble should be subject to harsh punishment to deter others from doing it. With that being said, people need to get their heads out of their a$$es and stop putting things on hackable electronic media that they don’t want made public. Bottom line – email is not secure, so don’t take pics of your bits and put them on there!
