Scarlett Johansson Had Divorce Party?

“Scarlett’s Divorce Party,” reads a headline from In Touch, which claims Scarlett Johansson had “celebratory divorce drinks” upon finalizing her divorce from Ryan Reynolds on July 1.

The mag says Johansson hit up NYC hotspot XIX with friends such as Aziz Ansari, and “was clearly in the mood to party.”

According to a supposed “eyewitness” at the club, Johansson was “buying bottles and doing cheers in honor of her independence,” and Ansari supposedly “got up and did a speech” dedicated to the newly single star.

Uh, if Johansson was so thrilled to be free from Reynolds, then why did they reunite in L.A. a week later?

Exactly.

In any case, a source close to Johansson assures Gossip Cop, “She did NOT have a divorce party,” and notes, she was simply “out with friends.”

Our insider stresses that Johansson would never do something so “tacky” like have a divorce party, especially since she has so much “respect” for Reynolds.

As usual, In Touch is divorced from the truth.
