CLAIM: Scarlett Johansson “Making a Big Play” for Jeremy Renner

Scarlett Johansson “isn’t shy about going after a guy!” begins a piece from Star magazine, which claims the actress is “making a big play for Jeremy Renner as they shoot The Avengers in NYC.”

According to a so-called “source” for the tabloid, “She follows him around and is so touchy-feely.”

But the Hurt Locker star is “steering clear” of Johansson, says the “source,” who explains, “He heard she can be very clingy.”

Well, that’s embarrassing… for Star.

The mag has been repeatedly mistaken when it comes to Johansson’s love life, and this latest tale is no different.

A rep for Renner tells Gossip Cop the tab’s story is “ridiculous and so wrong!” explaining that Johansson and Renner are actually just “great friends.”
