Sa’Rayah, Michael Sanchez “The Voice” Knockout Video – Watch Performances!
Sa’Rayah and Michael Sanchez competed against each other on Monday’s “The Voice,” and one artist was knocked out. Watch below!
As Gossip Cop reported, Sa’Rayah was originally on Miley Cyrus’ team after the Blind Auditions. But when Sa’rayah faced off with Aaron Gibson during the Battle round, Cyrus chose to stick with Gibson. On the brink of elimination, Sa’rayah was then stolen by Alicia Keys.
Meanwhile, Michael Sanchez had one of the best Battle performances when he and Dave Moisan did a surprising Amy Winehouse cover that had them switching off playing the piano. Keys declared Sanchez the victor, but now had he to prove his worth again during the Knockouts. And here he was going up against a vocal powerhouse.
Sa’Rayah picked Chaka Khan’s “Ain’t Nobody” for her performance, and was compared by key advisers Faith Hill and Tim McGraw to Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner. Sanchez opted for “Just The Two Of Us,” and was told to “settle” in to the lovable melody. Unsurprisingly, both ended up pulling off their performances, enthusiastically performing like they owned the stage.
Cyrus told Sa’Rayah, “You just lit this room on fire for a minute.” But she also admitted to being “obsessed” with Sanchez. Adam Levine told the two aspiring stars, “You’re like the illest duo of all time.” And while they both leaned toward Sanchez, Blake Shelton was all about Sa’Rayah.
It seemed like the win could logically go to either of them, but one had to go home. And that was Sanchez. Keys named Sa’Rayah the victor, and she’ll go on to next week’s Live Playoffs. Check out the videos below!
